Packaging parcels for e-commerce

Good packaging protects margins and customer trust. These habits help online sellers hand parcels over confidently.

Pack for the journey

Use a strong outer box or mailer, cushion fragile items and seal all edges. Avoid reusing damaged boxes and keep liquids in a separate sealed bag.

Size and label clearly

Choose the smallest size that safely fits the item to control cost. Put the receiver's name and phone inside the parcel as well as on the label in case the outer label is damaged.

Use tracking and insurance

Share the tracking link with the customer, keep proof of handover and declare values on higher-value orders. Insurance turns an unexpected loss into a managed claim.
